Hybrid, Parallel and Alternate Day formats represent three different approaches to do this.

Hybrid: One Group, One Meeting

In a hybrid meeting, online and in-person participants share the same experience. No matter where you are or how you choose to participate, everyone is in the same meeting.

There are many ways to conduct a hybrid meeting. Here are details on one approach, based on comments and suggestions received from members.

Parallel: Two Separate Groups Meeting at the Same Time

With Parallel meetings, online and in-person participants meet separately – though at the same time. While it's easier to do, Parallel breaks the group in two.

Like parallel lines, the online and in-person meetings do not intersect; each group has a unique experience.

Certainly it is possible for Brooklyn members to attend the online meeting. However, the out-of-towners cannot participate in the in-person meeting.

Alternate Day: Two Groups, Different Days

With Alternate Day, online and in-person participants meet on different days and have different experiences.

This approach will split the group in two ways:

In-Person Service Opportunities

Regardless of the option we choose, we will need to fill new service positions for any in-person meetings. The opportunities listed below are but suggestions. The definitive list may have to wait until the next business meeting.
